Publishing the video to my Rackspace hosting account. Much better streaming than using GoDaddy's server. When I converted the video from MPG to FLV using Zamzar, the audio got a bit smeared. Both of the domains for the URL-shortening service that I'd been using, xr.com and x.bb, have gone away, apparently in April. In addition to using these myself, I'd also recommended them in my book, Turn Funny Email into CASH! Well, it's not perfect, but after banging my head against the wall for hours, I'm ok with the end result. While I still haven't been able to completely avoid forcing hard-coded widths, at least I've been able to clean up my code and pare down my use of tables. As I've been continuing to learn about (and pull out my hair over) using the CSS float property, one problem that I keep running into is that my typical layouts use tables that (correctly) size themselves to conform to the width and height of the cell's content.
